Privacy Policy

Draft. This is a starting-point template, not reviewed by a lawyer. Read it fully and adjust anything that doesn't match how the product actually works before relying on it.
1

What we collect

  • An anonymous account identifier — created automatically on your first visit, stored in a cookie. No name, email, or password is required to play.
  • Gameplay data— which rounds you've played, your answers, and your scores, so we can show your stats, streaks, and leaderboard position.
  • Payment information — if you subscribe to Pro, payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details ourselves.
  • Basic usage analytics — page views and performance data, collected through Vercel Analytics, to understand how the Service is used and fix problems.
2

How we use it

To run the game (tracking your daily round, scores, and Pro status), to process subscription payments, to show leaderboards, and to understand and improve the Service. We don't sell your data.

3

Who we share it with

Our infrastructure providers, strictly to run the Service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

4

Your display name

Leaderboards show an auto-generated display name (e.g. "BlitzBeta482"), never anything you typed or any real identity — there's nowhere in the Service to enter one.

5

Data retention

We keep round history to power stats and streaks for as long as your anonymous account exists. Clearing cookies or switching devices/browsers effectively starts a new, disconnected account — we have no way to link it back to your old one.

6

Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

7

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above will reflect the most recent change.
